Mrs Taghreed Al Saftawi performed a coaching lesson for her colleagues. She implemented the video documentaries during a reading lesson. She started her lesson with a pre-reading discussion, followed by presentation activities and practices as students had to skim, scan, find meaning and opposites, find coherence and cohesions, and give more details from their readings.
she had also presented the new vocabulary for the students who felt happy lately by travelling through video documentaries to Istanbul watching all sites mentioned in their lesson
As an evaluation, students expressed their love to the strategy wishing to using it always.
after the lesson finished, a meeting took place, teacher expressed their admiration to the new strategy and the massive benefits students will gain by implementing it
Everybody thanked Mrs Saftawi for inviting the English teachers team to attend
